ABOUT THE BOOK
In Helmand, a Danish female officer
comes into contact with the Afghani women fighting against
oppression, domestic violence and the horror regime of the Taleban,
and together they initiate a covert collaboration.
The women receive the necessary aid to

"In grand and beautiful prose the
author portraits the relentless reality and the heroic fight
against oppression. [ ... ] But above all, the book is a finely
perceived and moving account of a meaningful war. [ ... ] You can
look forward to it; it's nothing less than beautiful."
