A hot hat is just what you need on a stormy autumn eve, a
winter's day or even in spring. It has always been like that, but
what is new is that today, hats really should be home knit or
-crochet to be "hot".
The Hot Hats are all remarkable in their own ways. They can be
girly with babushka dolls, flowers and hearts for trimming. Or - as
the "Ida Hat" - with a functional and decorative built-in scarf.
The "Bell Hat" is adorable for the little round baby-heads - and
all along, you will find a lot of variations to make your special
creation. For the boys you will find cool stuff to keep them warm
and cosy.
Most of the hats are in fact suitable for both boys and girls,
depending on colours and how you trim them. When you make your own
hats, you have all the chances of creating something unique, that
your child will be happy to wear and to know that it was created
especially for him or her.
For some of the hats you will find matching gloves, mittens,
scarves and other kinds of accessories so you can create an entire
set. For instance the mitten pattern can be used as a basic
pattern, where you can use the same details as you trim the hat
with. You can even use the hat patterns in the same way: Collect
all your yarn scraps, follow the pattern from the book and
voilá - you have created your own model.
