ABOUT THE BOOK
Superlicious Slow
Food stems from the growing need to make simple dishes in a
very busy daily life, dishes for everyday meals as well as weekend
cooking. These are meals that don't need a lot of preparation and
can sit and simmer more or less unattended.
In this book, Tina
Scheftelowitz and Sonja Bock focus on food that can be prepared in
just a single pot or pan, and which require minimal effort. Some of
these dishes have to sit in the pot for quite some time, while
others are tasty turbo-dishes made in a second. The book contains
95 recipes, as well as familiar classics with a twist.
Veal with rhubarbs and
salted onions, breast of duck with apricots, winter-Bolognese,
French ragout of lamb and quails with cherries are just a few of
the new recipes that have made their way into this latest
publication. Yet Bock and Scheftelowitz haven't forgotten the
vegetables that have always been at the core of their
Superlicious-series, and naturally you will find
ideas for the menu on vegetarian day.
As always, the authors
have ensured that there is something for every season, and as such
the book includes suggestions on how to make a good salad and bread
that are a perfect match for these slow-cooked meals.
