ABOUT THE BOOK
Many women struggle with their relationship to food. It can be
difficult to break habits that might go all the way back to
childhood unless you understand that the type of woman you are can
actually have a big influence on how and what you eat.
Eat According to the Woman You
Are was written for women who want to make peace with food so
they can eat without a guilty conscience. The book presents the
five types of women and the challenges they face in relation to
food and their own bodies. By learning about your type, you will
realize why you eat the way you do. This will help you to stop
compulsive eating, overeating, and put an end to your sugar
cravings. The book is a unique combination of valuable diet advice
and easy, healthy recipes suited to the various types.
The book also includes:
* An explanation of how upbringing and
dieting prevent people from achieving a thin body and a natural
relationship to food
* A simple test to find out what type
you are
* Psychological tools to help the
various types break their eating patterns
* Simple dietary advice, specifically
designed for each type
* Delicious and easy recipes for the
various types
* Actual examples from the author's
practice, demonstrating how women can lose weight and regain their
enjoyment of food
The book is of particular interest to
women who:
* are tired of restrictive diets that
in the long run don't really work
* would like to have a relaxed attitude
toward food
* are tired of allowing food and
thoughts about food to control their moods
* are compulsive eaters but don't know
how to stop
* overeat, even though they're not
hungry
* eat healthy foods until four o'clock,
when suddenly they need a sugar fix
* spend money on clothes, shoes,
cosmetics, and travel, but not on what really hurts when they look
at themselves in the mirror
