ABOUT THE BOOK

Dentist Helene Sandholm thinks she is doing just fine ... However, a sleazy SMS reveals her secret affair and a tragic, yet comic divorce-craze breaks loose. Her ex-husband behaves like a 5-year-old, her lover turns out be a complete moron, the teacher with the enormous boobs becomes the new stepmom for her children, Helene finds herself doing a striptease for two young blokes, she drinks too much, which scares her children, and all of a sudden her best-friend wants a divorce as well. Does it get more complicated? Luckily, things tend to change when you need them to.

THE AUTHORS

Trine Appel and Anne-Grethe Bjarup Riis are actresses known from performances on TV, film and theatre. Trine Appel is the author of Kongens Staldknægt; a children's novel.

Anne-Grethe Bjarup Riis also tours the country giving lectures as well as working as a director, debater and sculptor. She participated in the Danish version of Dancing with the Stars. This is her first novel.

FILM RIGHTS

Send More Sex is expected to be adapted for a film version, which will be distributed in 2010.
