On a warm summer's day, the Danish Minister of Justice and his
wife are found murdered in their home in Klampenborg, north of
Copenhagen.
The bloody double murder sends chock waves through the Danish
population, and a large-scale investigation is immediately
initiated. Everything indicates that the murderer knows the
couple's habits in detail and has been driven by immense
hatred.
Crime reporter Lise Toft covers the case in detail for the
Danish tabloid, Today's News. Her many in-depth reports and search
for the truth brings her through some of the more chequered and
shady environments, and one day she is suddenly very close to the
murderer. Far too close.
