ABOUT THE BOOK
Freely adapted from Hans
Christian Andersen. in this illustrated children's book, Manu
Sareen moves H.C. Andersen's fairytale to present time Copenhagen
where Osama lends a hand around his father's shop, The Iraqi Kiosk.
So does his older brother Basim, while grandmother sits on a crate
of cokes in the back, cursing and yelling at everyone.
Osama's cousin Wahib knows
how to wheel and deal and therefore he is handed the cash balance
