ABOUT THE BOOK

11-year-old Arne was a fictional legend in Denmark 20 years ago. As the main character of a radio cartoon back then, he now finds himself all alone, when his parents die in a car accident. Their Ford Granada and caravan drive off a bridge, and Arne is left to his own devices. However, the mysterious Big Chief keeps showing up on his Indian motorbike and he might be able to help Arne.

THE AUTHORS

Wikke & Rasmussen have written, directed, produced and often played leading roles in their films, radio and television series, since they teamed up in the 80s. They have produced award winning satire for television, bringing home awards from many countries including one from the TV Festival at Montreux and the Children's Jury Award at Lübeck. Their latest feature film Skymaster (2006) also won several prizes both in Denmark and in the rest of the world including Japan, the U.S. and Canada.
